Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein recently fired up a fundraiser to cover the costs of recounts in up to three states; Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. The fundraiser started with a goal of two point five million dollars, but once that goal was met, the goal was raised to four million, then yet again to seven million dollars.
So, is Jill Stein doing Hillary Clinton’s dirty work in demanding these recounts, or is she essentially running what would amount to a fundraising scam, or both?
It’s well documented that not long after Bernie Sanders was robbed of a fair vote to be the Democrat party presidential nominee by the corrupt DNC and Hillary Clinton machine, that he suspended his campaign, and fell in-line to support Hillary like a good little minion. Then coincidentally, he purchased a mighty fine five hundred seventy five thousand dollar vacation home on 500 feet of Lake Champlain beachfront in his home state of Vermont. Many speculate that this was his participation award for capitulating to the DNC and their goal to have Hillary coronated as the Democrat party presidential nominee.
In another brow raising coincidence, prior to Jill Stein’s announcement of her recount fundraiser. On Tuesday, November 22nd, the New York Magazine reported that a group of computers scientists and election lawyers had urged the Clinton campaign to challenge the election results in the three states. This could easily lead one to question whether Stein is doing Hillary’s dirty work. Or, whether it is nothing more than a fundraising scam for the Green Party and to line Jill Stein’s pockets a little longer.
Based on quotes by George Martin, a former co-chair of the Wisconsin Green Party where he states “There is no smoking gun.” And, “There’s not something we’re pointing to say that this is wrong in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. What we are saying is that there’s enough peripheral evidence to warrant that our system should be investigated.” These two statements alone should give anyone with a thinking mind pause. But, it gets even shadier.
Next we have the comments from Stein’s election website that state “We cannot guarantee a recount will happen in any of these states we are targeting. We can only pledge we will demand recounts in those states.” And this is followed by “If we raise more than what’s needed, the surplus will also go toward election integrity efforts and to promote voting system reform.”
One must ask oneself, what exactly does she mean when she says that any surplus money will go towards “election integrity efforts?” That’s a pretty ambiguous statement regarding what will happen to the money, coming from a candidate that received less than 1% of the votes in each of the states they are targeting. And all this is action is based on claims they were approached, by computer scientists and election layers that there is persuasive evidence of tampered election results.
So, what do you think? Is this all a way to get Hillary supporters riled back up? Is Jill Stein doing the dirty work that Hillary Clinton doesn’t want her fingerprints on directly? Or, is this just a fundraising scam by the Green Party to fill their coffers after being proven irrelevant in yet another election?
